The son of Murano glassmakers, in the early 1920s Vittorio Zecchin was the inaugural art director of the Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappelin Venini & C. glass works in Venice. It was around this time he began producing his elegant monochrome glass pieces, inspired by 16th century forms, that brought him international acclaim when he exhibited them at the Paris International Exposition of 1925, and for which he is now so celebrated.

This piece is in excellent condition, so scratches, chips or cracks. It is also guaranteed to be 100% authentic and as described.
