A Rare Pilkington’s Royal Lancastrian Lustre Pottery Jug

Decorated by William Salter Mycock, decorated onto an orange ground with green leaves surrounding an armorial shield with a three masted ship and a knight’s helmet. The underside with impressed factory marks and artist’s mark, also with original price label £3-7-6.


Height: 7 in.; Width: 6 ½ in. (over handle)

Condition: Excellent, no signs of restoration, with some firing flaws in the glaze that occurred during the making.
