Evoking Mamluk metalwares of 13th-14th century Egypt, these vases, finely worked in various silver, copper, and brass, are usually found decorated with stylised Islamic script. They were first made in the early 19th century and remained popular with tourists on the Grand Tour well into the 20th century.
Overall good condition, some tarnish and discoloration consistent with age.
